Heather Cooper is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Boca Raton office, where she plays a key role in the firm’s third-party practice and concentrates on business and corporate law, financial services litigation, securities litigation, commercial litigation, compliance and regulatory matters, and complex real estate transactions and disputes. Heather represents financial institutions and licensed professionals—including broker-dealers, clearing firms, investment advisers, and their associated personnel—in arbitrations, state and federal court litigation, regulatory proceedings, and compliance counseling. She also advises businesses at every stage of their operations, from formation through dissolution, and handles a wide range of commercial and residential real estate matters, including transactions, leasing, financing, and related litigation.
Heather has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star in 2024 and 2025, named to The Boca Raton Observer’s Top Lawyers list in 2022, and honored in Palm Beach Illustrated’s 2025 issue as one of Palm Beach County’s Top Lawyers. Before joining the firm, Heather clerked in the Office of the General Counsel at Florida’s Office of Financial Regulation, where she gained experience in the oversight of the state’s financial services providers. She earned her Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida, and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2015. Heather is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
